What's Your Favorite Season? Illustrations

In “What’s Your Favorite Season?” two friends, Windy Wind and Nimbus Cloud, go on an adventure to find out what’s the best season by asking many “residents” of the forest in Maine. What they find is more than they can handle. In the end however, they meet the challenge and learn that all seasons offer something for everyone. I worked with Edward T. Vieira Jr., the author, from the start of visually translating this story. After taking his directions for visual cues, I developed a complete storyboard and then began illustrating the individual spreads.
