The Show! CommWorks Identity

As an extracurricular assignment, fellow designer, Mariclare Rethore and I developed and executed this expressive identity for our Senior Portfolio Showcase at Simmons University. We saw this as an opportunity to use the knowledge and skills we had developed in our design track in a completely different way. We started by creating organic textures using silk screen and ink and then moved to layering and blending those textures with some fluid, warped text. Through this experimental process we picked up more design techniques and successfully designed striking save the dates, invitations, posters, banners and name tags for the event.
